Introduction To Yoga
Ideal for the absolute beginner...
Explore the basics with this slow and easy, step by step workshop and get a feel of the fundamentals of the Ashtanga system. A great way to learn in a non intimidating atmosphere. Begin to demystify energy locks, Ujjayi breathing and the postures for the modified primary series.
The instructor will work a flowing practice into each class, ultimately working toward developing understanding and comfort for each student. By the end of the 6 week session, all students will have worked through or been exposed to most of the full or modified primary series postures and the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of these will have been touched on.
Discussion is welcome in this informal "class" setting and one on one attention is given.
