| Ashtanga 1 |
Fundamentals Beginners Ashtanga yoga focusing on breath, energy locks and safe practice techniques. |
| Ashtanga 1-2 |
Beginners to intermediate Ashtanga yoga, modified primary series practice. |
| Ashtanga 2-3 |
Advanced Ashtanga yoga focusing on the traditional Primary series with possible introduction to Second series. |
| Hatha Flow |
Static and dynamic postures, pranayama, chakra awareness and deep relaxation. Our Hatha classes are open to students of all levels. Mofifications are given for more challenging postures. Each class is balanced to give you a full body workout while focusing on the breath. |
| Hatha/Restorative |
An opportunity to practice the yang and yin sides of yoga within the same class. The first half will be a core muscular class, we will then come to the floor for the second half to restore and strengthen the core at the bones and connective tissue with stillness and long holds. This deep restorative work allows us to not only strengthen at the structure of the body to compliment the yang practice, but also to restore at all levels through physical and mental stillness as we learn to surrender and let go. |
| Hot Yoga |
Hot Yoga will be offered in the back studio (wood floor and humidified) at approximately 85degrees F. Not so hot that you will feel heat exhaustion but hot enough to sweat and feel a deep stretch. The class is primarily standing and balancing postures that have a strength element focus. Come out and enjoy! |
| ISHTA Yoga |
ISHTA Yoga is a combination of Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vini and other yoga techniques. Through a blend of Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath)and Tantra (mediatation), this challenging class will leave you feeling energized, strong and relaxed. ISHTA is a sanskrit term that means 'individual'; the Ishta practice encourages us to find our own individual 'best self.' |
| Morning Glory Yoga |
Morning Glory Yoga is for all levels of ability. A gently guided morning practice to stretch and tone the muscles and joints, the spine and entire skeletal system. With varying intensity and focus on breathing to leave you feeling strong, calm and refreshed. Work through that morning stiffness and energize for the rest of the day! |
| Power Yoga Level 2-3 |
Let your intuition guide you through a physically challenging practice to energize and free the body's natural healing and strengthening force (chi), as your mind moves toward a deeper level of stillness listening to that which your unlimited internal wisdom has to offer. |
Restorative Level 1 |
Take the time to experience relaxation in an atmosphere conducive for inward reflection. An opportunity to restore your energy levels, physical, mental, and emotional, in this yin style practice of passive openings and longer-hold stretches utilizing a number of props for full body support. |
| Restorative/Yin |
The foundation for the class is restorative, beginning and ending in that fashion. (See Restorative Level 1) Several traditional Yin postures are blended in to target specific joint openings through mild energetic long-holds getting into the deeper connective tissue and facia, complementing the yang side of the practice through increased energy flow. |
| Strength & Soul |
Simplified postures, challenging intensity with a focus on building core strength. Suitable for confident beginners to advanced practitioners. |
| Vinyasa 1 or 1-2 |
Ashtanga yoga linked in a flowing in a unique innovative series with optional vinyasas. |
| Yoga Core |
The core is located at the centre of the body & consists of the rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, internal & external obliques & the erector spinae. Practice emphasis is on the development of strength & flexibility of the core muscles to improve balance, stability, alignment & range of motion. Awareness of the core is developed through the breath & by engaging these muscles in the asanas, featuring slightly longer holds in the asanas to strengthen & lengthen the core muscles. A flowing class suitable for all levels & designed to enhance both inner & outer strength. |

All level mixed yoga class, without the vinyasas. |
| Yoga-Pilates |
A combination of Yoga with the strengthening and toning of Pilates in a one hour format. |
| ** Karma Yoga donation class open to members and non-members. Suggested $10-2 donation and canned food item. All proceeds to charity. The teacher volunteers his/her time. Level 1-2 flow style class with many modifications offered. The style of the class may vary with teacher. |
